Annual Testing Carried Out on Site at MDH Autocentre
Your MOT in Erdington is carried out here at MDH Autocentre Ltd by qualified and experienced MOT testers. Because the test happens in-house, your car stays with us from start to finish and isn't sent anywhere else. That keeps things simple for you and helps us get you on your way sooner.
What Your MOT Test Covers
Most cars need an MOT every year once they're three years old. The test checks that your vehicle meets the legal standards for road safety and exhaust emissions, looking at areas such as:
Brakes, steering, and suspension
Lights, indicators, and reflectors
Tyres and wheels
Seatbelts, mirrors, and windscreen wipers
Exhaust emissions
If anything needs attention, we'll explain what it means in plain English and talk through your options before anything else happens. You'll get a clear picture of what was found, so you can make your own decision without feeling rushed. Most MOT repairs can be booked in with us too, which saves you finding another garage.
Pair It with a Service and Your MOT Is Free
Book a Full or Major Service and we'll include your MOT at no extra cost. Plenty of drivers line the two up each year so everything is done in a single visit, and the test itself costs them nothing.
Wait in Comfort or Leave Your Keys with Us
You're welcome to stay while your car is tested. Settle into the waiting area with a drink and you can even watch the work being carried out. There's customer parking on site, so you won't need to hunt for a space nearby. If you'd rather get on with your day, you're welcome to leave the car with us instead.
Book Your MOT Online at a Time That Suits You
You can have your MOT up to a month (minus a day) before the current certificate runs out and still keep the same renewal date, so there's no need to leave it until the last minute. Getting it done early also gives you breathing space if something needs fixing before the old certificate expires. Book online now and we'll have you back on the road as swiftly as we can.
